Unity Cafe
Our programs total vision

Through its supportive services, employment, and housing programs, Unity Cafe will assists individuals and families affected by homelessness and poverty, serving as a catalyst for self-reliance.


Unity Cafe will serve meals in a restaurant-style setting and provide supportive services in a therapeutic community designed to help individuals on their journey toward self-sufficiency;


Our Case Management program will offer, information and referral services, to members, typically to address a temporary crisis or transition. In partnership with Owensboro organizations that provides cash grants to prevent eviction and homelessness.
 


Unity Cafe will be a food service job-training program which will be a restaurant open to the public as well as serve Owensboros homeless that are in our program.

The Employment Project, will offer career services, employment preparation training, Educational training, employer outreach, Reentry training and job placement and retention services throughout Owensboro;


Unity cafe, will offer free, voice mail service for phoneless, homeless and low-income individuals enabling them to connect with family, employers, housing and service providers; As well as a permanent address for use for the homeless to receive mail and assistance available thru government agencies.


Housing Services, will offer a housing locator, Assistance with rent subsidies agencies and social services to help individuals and families find and maintain permanent housing.
